BARACUTA
Founded in 1937 by the Miller brothers in Manchester, UK, Baracuta started by creating revolutionary rainwear with excellent water resistance and windproof qualities. Since the creation of the G9, originally designed as a golf outerwear, it has become the prototype for blousons, beloved by people around the world even today.
Refreshing Dry Touch
Made from a cotton and polyester blend, the fabric is tightly woven to provide a slightly crisp texture. It is extremely lightweight, quick-drying, and highly durable.
The front body and the back yoke (upper portion) are lined with the same fabric, while the rest is unlined. The body maintains its shape without sagging, while the sleeves offer a soft, relaxed feel, creating a balanced yet sophisticated appearance.
Timeless Details
The "Dog Ear," named after the floppy ears of a dog, is an iconic feature of the G9. When the collar is flipped up, it creates a laid-back vibe, while buttoning it up enhances wind resistance.
Originally designed as golf wear, the G9 features a raglan sleeve for ease of movement. The armholes are also generously sized, making it easy to wear wide T-shirts as an inner layer.
