CHIMERA Series
The "CHIMERA" series is based on the concept of combining two opposing genes into a high-level product. Marmot uniquely develops this series, incorporating contrasting features such as waterproofing and breathability, lightweight and durability, into a single product.

Founded in 1971 by two students from the University of California, Marmot is an outdoor brand rooted in the "Marmot Club." It was the first outdoor apparel company to incorporate GORE-TEX into its gear, revolutionizing the industry. Light Yet Reliable
Utilizing a very thin 20-denier ripstop nylon fabric, this extremely lightweight three-layer shell incorporates Marmot's unique membrane (a thin film that enables waterproofing and breathability).
The grid-like ripstop nylon is designed to prevent further tearing in the event of a fabric rupture, making it a reliable feature.
Additionally, the inclusion of 7-denier tricot fabric provides excellent stretch and a soft feel for ultimate comfort.
Two Completely Different Colors
The series is available in two colors: the versatile "Black" and the nostalgic "Yellow × Red."
The "Yellow × Red" color scheme is inspired by Marmot's archives, creating a classic mood with the most advanced materials—a perfect blend of the old and new.
Packable for Convenience
Equipped with a dedicated stuff sack, this item is designed to be packed away for easy storage. Ideal for uncertain weather or when not in use during active scenes, you can store it in your bag.
Easy Layering for Urban Wear
Not only suited for active scenes, this item is designed with a slightly relaxed silhouette for easy wear in town as well.
The back is rounded with about a 4cm difference in length.
Protection from Rain and Wind
The hood features a soft brim, and the drawcords at the neck and back allow for an adjustable fit.
Waterproof zippers are used at the front to enhance waterproofing.
The cuff adjustment tape is very short to reduce interference with knit gloves.
A drawcord is placed at the left hem, allowing you to adjust the fit and modify the silhouette for different styles while blocking the wind.
The left chest features embroidery from Marmot's early days, evoking the brand's vintage atmosphere. The left sleeve is embroidered with the "Chimera Series" logo.
