WHITE MOUNTAINEERING's first collaboration model with ALPHA INDUSTRIES is now available.
Based on the CWU-45/P flight jacket, the MA-1's unique details are fused with WM's sophisticated pattern-making to create a smart, urban impression while retaining the ruggedness of the military jacket.
The zipper pocket on the chest accentuates both functionality and design.
With its lightweight specification that omits padding, this is a versatile outerwear that can be worn in spring, fall, and other long seasons.

Founded in 2006, WHITE MOUNTAINEERING is a Japanese label guided by the philosophy that “every field in which clothing is worn is part of the outdoors.” The brand combines design, utility, and technical precision into a single, uncompromising form. 
Both the outer and lining materials are crafted from 100% nylon with a smooth sheen and excellent abrasion resistance — lightweight yet structured for a crisp silhouette. The absence of insulation makes it adaptable for long-season wear. 
Utility details with a sculpted presence
The collar uses a rib design inspired by the MA-1 lineage, while the back is accented with a carabiner — a signature WM touch. 
Two bold zip pockets at the front offer visual impact, while the left chest pocket is trimmed with premium sheepskin — a special detail reserved for this collaboration. Interior storage adds everyday practicality. 
The shoulder utility pocket includes a zip case and a four-slot pen compartment with a reinforced tip guard to protect the fabric. 
The iconic ALPHA INDUSTRIES ribbon is reimagined for this collaboration and can be detached via a ring catch — usable as a strap when removed. 
A discreet logo is placed beneath the front placket, appearing only when opened — a subtle, hidden accent. 
The pocket structure follows the original CWU-45/P blueprint.
Ribbed cuffs and hem retain authentic flight jacket wind protection.
Sleek urban-military balance
The cut offers slightly more ease around the body and sleeves for improved layering, yet remains clean and modern. Without insulation, it feels light and agile — wearable across three seasons by adjusting inner layers.
