A venerable shoe brand from Kurume, Japan, famous for its school shoes. Nowadays, it is popular in high-end boutiques for its sneakers made using the vulcanized manufacturing process. 
Comfort and Elegance
The uppers are made from cotton canvas with a slight sheen, lightweight and breathable for comfortable wear. 
The shoelaces, chosen to match the upper's ambiance, are waxed laces with a unique sheen, adding an elegant touch. 
Durability with a Focus on Craftsmanship
The vulcanized process is used, which involves sandwiching rubber between the sneaker's upper and sole, then applying high heat and pressure to cure the rubber, bonding the sneaker together.
This method strongly fuses the canvas upper and rubber sole, ensuring durability and a long-lasting finish. Additionally, a rubber tape wrapped around the joint between the body and the sole enhances durability against lateral and diagonal movements.
Note: White powder (bloom phenomenon) may appear on the rubber surface due to anti-aging agents used in rubber production. This is normal and does not affect the product quality. Wipe it off with a soft cloth using commercially available water-based rubber wax or silicone resin shoe polish. 
Functionality and Design in Harmony
The rubber encasing the toe area not only looks classic but also provides ample strength.
Inside, two ventilation holes ensure a comfortable internal temperature. 
The insole's moderate softness supports walking and ensures comfort. Below the logo, 'MADE IN KURUME' is proudly stamped, reflecting confidence and pride in its Kurume origin.
The outsole, typically simple, features a gradient design made from two colors of rubber, catching the eye.
