NANGA's down uses the feathers of mature waterfowl, which are washed and refined in Japan. It is characterized by its exceptionally high natural temperature and humidity regulation capabilities and its minimal distinctive odor. Thoroughly washed and refined at the factory of "Kawada Feather," a feather processing manufacturer with proprietary specialized equipment and excellent technology, NANGA provides clean and high-quality down.
High-quality down is produced by leveraging the ultra-soft underground water nurtured by the rich environment surrounded by mountains and the climate of the Ise Plain in Mie Prefecture, which is ideal for drying feathers.
- SPDX Down / 860FPOnly Polish white geese that have been cleaned in Japan are used. The down is composed of 93% down and 7% feathers, offering high insulation with a fill power of 860 FP.
- UDD Down / 770FPThis is high-quality, high-function down with a super water-repellent finish applied to the DX feathers, and it has a fill power of 770FP. The feathers and water-repellent resin are combined at the molecular level to create a wall of fine particles that prevents water from penetrating, making it “moisture-permeable but water-repellent” down.
- DX Down / 760FPOnly Spanish white duck down that has been cleaned in Japan is used. It is made up of 90% down and 10% feathers, and is high-quality down with excellent cost performance and a fill power of 760FP.
