Made from strong, water resistant wax cord that can be left on all day and handmade with Karen Silver beads that are unique to each piece.
Tough, water-resistant wax cord Polyester fibres are soaked in wax and spun to create a tough, water-resistant cord. The polyester fibres are soaked in wax and spun to make the normally strong cord even tougher. This makes a tough cord even tougher and gives it a nice texture. It can be worn in the shower, in the bath, in the pool or in the sea.
It is water resistant and will not fade or bleed when exposed to perspiration or rain, making it an ideal material for surfers' accessories.
What is Karen SilverKaren Silver is found in Myanmar and Thailand. Karen Silver is a high purity silver that is handcrafted by a small group of hill tribes in Myanmar and Northern Thailand.
Karen silver has a purity of 95-99.9%, compared to about 92% for most silver jewellery.
