Founded in 2006, KEPANI is a Japanese brand dedicated to sweatwear. With a focus on carefully selected yarns and traditional techniques, the brand offers brushed-back sweatshirts, sweat fabric hoodies, jackets, and small accessories such as gloves.
The secret to lasting wear
KEPANI’s signature “Raffy brushed fleece” uses cotton remnants spun from extra-long staple cotton, including the world’s three finest varieties: Turfan, Giza, and Supima. This ensures the natural suppleness of the fibers remains intact, even after repeated washing.
Additionally, the knitted fabric undergoes tumbler processing to compact the material, giving it resilience and shape retention. This prevents the garment from losing its form over time, even with regular washing.
Aging beautifully
The unique heathered texture gains character with wear. With each wash, the black yarns gradually fade, allowing you to enjoy a subtle and refined patina over the years.
A shallow V-neckline creates a clean impression around the face, and pairs easily with collared items.
The front features vintage-inspired “cat-eye” buttons, adding a discreet touch of heritage detail.
Ribbed cuffs and back hem provide a natural, comfortable fit.
