Generally, softness is the main feature of cashmere, but YONETOMI proposes the opposite. Rigid cashmere is stiff at first.
This is a new type of sweater that can be worn like denim, washed, and grown to your own specifications over time.
The specially ordered cashmere yarn, twisted to the limit of its fibers, is knitted with a degree of knitting to achieve amazing durability. It is a piece that can be worn every day without losing its shape, and can be grown for 10 years.

Cashmere twisted to its physical limit
Instead of prioritizing softness alone, this custom cashmere yarn is spun with extreme high twist — right to the threshold where the fibers begin to break — to give the yarn inherent strength.

A “rigid” finish, intentionally unfinished
Unlike most cashmere knits that undergo washing and softening, this piece is delivered without any post-processing — a state that leaves the final finish in your hands. With wear and hand washing, the oils gradually lift, the core fibers relax, and a one-of-a-kind surface emerges.
It’s presented raw, with even the natural scent of spinning oil — a rarity in modern knitwear.
