While maintaining the ease of use of its predecessors, this dependable item has been made lightweight and tough by using “Ultra” material with excellent water resistance, abrasion resistance, and impact resistance for the fabric.
It combines a highly applicable front pocket and outstanding storage capacity, and can be expected to play an active role in a wide range of situations, including long trails, as well as town use and leisure activities.

A new outdoor brand born from the vision of providing simple, efficient gear and apparel. Supervised by Tomoya Tsuchiya, a leading figure in ultralight hiking and head of Highland Design, TRAIL BUM combines functionality with a minimalist ethos.
Lightweight and Durable Fabric
The fabric features "Ultra," a cutting-edge material developed by Challenge Sailcloth in the USA, offering superior water resistance, abrasion resistance, and impact strength.
Compared to DCF (Dyneema Composite Fabrics), "Ultra" boasts approximately three times the tear strength and seven times the abrasion resistance, resulting in a highly durable material.
The bottom, prone to wear, uses a thicker fabric than the main body for enhanced durability.
A waterproof film on the interior provides added protection against unexpected rain. For longevity, seam piping replaces seam tape to avoid peeling or degradation over time.

Versatile Storage and Adaptability
The main compartment features a roll-top closure with snap buttons.
By extending the top portion, the storage capacity can be adjusted from 35L to 43L to accommodate varying loads.
The front mesh pocket can hold bulky items like helmets. Reinforced with Ultra fabric at the bottom, it securely stores even sharp tools like snow shovel blades. The flaps on either side keep contents firmly in place.
Adjustable bungee cords provide added stability, reducing movement and allowing for gear attachment like sleeping mats. The bungee cords are intentionally long for versatile use.
The side pockets, with a gusseted design, hold up to two 500ml bottles each and are angled for easy access even while carrying. Drawstring closures ensure secure storage for smaller items.
Drainage holes in the front and side pockets ensure usability in wet conditions like rain or snow.
Comfortable to Carry
The shoulder straps use durable Spectra fabric with padded inserts to prevent discomfort and distribute weight evenly. Wide webbing minimizes pressure on the shoulders.
A removable chest strap prevents slipping and enhances stability during movement. The gray slider buckle doubles as a whistle.
The hip belt at the bottom distributes weight to the lower body, improving balance and reducing strain on the shoulders for enhanced comfort.
Inside, a removable back pad adds comfort and stability, making the pack user-friendly even for those new to packing.
