A few years after the creation of BARACUTA's iconic "G9" in 1937, the "G4" was introduced in 1944, now standing as the brand's second icon.
The G4 features a slightly longer length than the G9, with no ribbed cuffs or hem. Commonly known as the "driving coat," it was originally designed to be worn while driving.

Now, the G4 is available in an ultra-lightweight model weighing just 200g. Made with windproof and durable ripstop nylon, it allows for easy layering without worrying about weight on chilly days.

This new take on the swing top brings a sporty and fresh approach to a timeless classic.

Founded in 1937 by the Miller brothers in Manchester, UK, Baracuta began by creating revolutionary rainwear with excellent water resistance and windproof qualities. Since the creation of the G9, originally designed as a golf outerwear, it has become the prototype for blousons, beloved by people around the world even today.

Ultra Thin Yet Highly Durable
The fabric is made from lightweight ripstop nylon. Even if the fabric tears, the rip will not spread further, ensuring peace of mind. It can be folded up and easily stored in your bag, offering excellent portability. Additionally, it has water resistance, so it is safe to use in light rain.

The front body and the back yoke (upper portion) are lined with the same fabric, while the rest is unlined, creating a single-layer construction.
