Each pair is carefully handmade by skilled artisans in Shizuoka Prefecture, a region known for producing footwear ranging from traditional geta to globally renowned brands.
Premium Japanese Leather
Made from leather sourced from Japanese tanneries that emphasize eco-friendly practices, including vegetable tanning and reduced environmental impact. The meticulous production process reflects a deep commitment to quality and sustainability.
Oil Leather
This premium leather, developed by a century-old leather supplier, is entirely made in Japan, from raw hide to finished material. Saturated with oil to achieve a soft, smooth texture, it develops a beautiful patina over time, showcasing its natural aging process.
Designed for Effortless Movement
The outsoles are crafted from lightweight, wear-resistant "original foamed rubber soles." This material incorporates tiny air bubbles within synthetic rubber, creating a sponge-like structure that offers exceptional lightness and cushioning.
To reduce the rigidity often associated with leather footwear, a semi-hard urethane foam cushion is integrated into the insole. This high-rebound, high-elasticity material absorbs impact and ensures a comfortable walking experience.
The insole is lined with soft, high-quality leather for superior comfort, making these shoes ideal for barefoot wear.
Featuring a gently sloping oblique toe with ample room for toes, these shoes provide a relaxed fit without pinching, ensuring all-day comfort.
The adjustable strap features five settings, allowing you to customize the fit to suit the height of your instep.
