GRIPS, a Japanese bag brand discontinued nearly a decade ago, returns through an exclusive collaboration. This second release of the satchel bag refines the design with soft curves and three-dimensional details.
The overall form has been reshaped with gentle curves, while the flap now features added gussets for structure. Compared to the clean lines of the previous model, this version evokes the depth and character of a classic hunting bag.
Maintaining its practical size—fitting A4 documents and a 13-inch laptop—a new rear slit pocket makes everyday essentials easily accessible. Frequently used items such as smartphones and pass cases can be retrieved with ease. The shoulder strap has also been slightly widened for improved comfort and stability.
As before, the combination of water-repellent canvas and genuine leather offers durability and charm, growing into a one-of-a-kind piece for you.

Water-repellent canvas
The main body is made from durable canvas (also known as duck) by ALBERTON. It is substantial yet supple, providing a firm structure while remaining comfortable to use.
The fabric is treated with paraffin wax for water resistance, making it reliable in light rain—a practical companion for everyday carry.
Leather that gains character over time
Leather accents throughout complement the canvas, adding character to the overall design. Areas that require extra durability, such as the sides, are crafted from thick, single-piece leather. Over time, the leather develops a unique patina, allowing it to become truly your own.
Functional details in every element
The leather flap closure features a two-way system: belt and magnet. While preserving a classic look, the magnetic option allows for quick and effortless access.
A newly added rear slit pocket offers easy access to frequently used items such as a smartphone or pass case.
The lining is finished in a deep green tone, lending a refined, traditional character.
The shoulder strap has been slightly widened from the previous model, offering a more stable and comfortable fit. It is also removable, allowing it to be used as either a shoulder bag or a handheld tote depending on the occasion.
