Reimagined as a lightweight outer layer, this piece draws its roots from the Monster Parka originally developed as cold-weather gear for U.S. special forces.
Crafted from highly durable CORDURA nylon and finished with the eco-conscious, high-performance water-repellent treatment CZEREX. By removing the signature insulation of the Monster Parka, it becomes an ideal piece for transitional seasons. The shortened length further enhances its light, effortless wearability.
Details include Velcro panels originally designed for unit and rank patches, along with carefully considered cuffs and hem construction to block out wind. Easy to throw on yet true to the original spirit of the Monster Parka, this is a piece that balances functionality with authentic military character.

An outdoor brand founded in 1981 by renowned American mountaineers John Bouchard and Marie Meunier. Drawing on their extensive experience in harsh alpine environments, the brand develops high-quality products under the philosophy that gear must be “lightweight yet tough.” Its highly functional cold-weather wear and durable luggage have been continuously adopted by the U.S. Army and Navy. 
Balancing toughness and environmental performance
The fabric is made from highly durable CORDURA nylon. In addition, it is treated with the environmentally conscious fluorine-free durable water-repellent finish “CZEREX,” delivering firmness, durability, and exceptional water repellency.
Compared to conventional fluorine-based coatings, water beads and rolls off more easily, while offering over ten times the wash durability. Clean in appearance, this “growing fabric” develops richer character the more it is worn.
Constructed without lining for a lightweight feel. Its thin profile makes it ideal for transitional seasons. 
Military-inspired details
The neckline features a stand collar with just the right height to provide ample wind protection. In sudden rain, simply deploy the hood stored neatly inside the collar. 
The front features a double-zip design, allowing you to adjust the fit to suit changing temperatures or your mood.
Two inner pockets and two zippered outer pockets provide excellent storage capacity with a total of four pockets. 
Patch bases are placed on both arms, faithfully recreating a military detail originally used to display unit affiliation and rank. 
Velcro-adjustable cuffs and a drawcord hem help block out wind while allowing you to adjust the silhouette.
The stepped hem, longer at the back, adds movement and dimension to the silhouette.
Short-Length Monster Parka
Compared to traditional Monster Parkas, this short-length version offers a cleaner, more streamlined look. The relaxed body width allows for easy layering, making it versatile enough to wear from colder seasons despite its lightweight construction.
