Introducing HOUDINI's signature insulation jacket that combines warmth and portability.
Dunfri means "down-free" in Swedish.
As the name suggests, this jacket is made mainly from recycled materials without using animal-derived materials such as down and feathers for the insulation.
"PrimaLoft Gold" is used for the padding, providing high heat retention and insulation at a light weight.
Resistant to water and moisture, and easy to care for, it is a very dependable piece of warm clothing for mountaineering, backcountry skiing, camping, and everyday wear when the temperature is low.

PrimaLoft × Ripstop — warm, resilient, and reliable
The insulation uses PrimaLoft made from 100% recycled polyester. Soft, compressible, and highly heat-retentive, it maintains performance even when damp — a key advantage over down.
High-loft warmth on par with down
Originally engineered for the U.S. Army and Navy, PrimaLoft is a synthetic insulation offering down-level warmth at a fraction of the maintenance. The ultrafine microfibers trap air effectively, delivering soft, cloud-like loft with dependable warmth.
The shell fabric is Spinner Ripstop made from 100% recycled polyester. It combines wind resistance and durability with a surprisingly smooth, feather-light touch suited for daily wear and outdoor movement alike.
The minimalist seam layout is intentional — fewer stitches preserve the softness of the insulation and create an airy, weightless feel unique to the Dunfri series.
Refined freedom in the details
A two-way zip allows ventilation and mobility from either direction, making temperature control effortless.
Two hand-warmer pockets on the front and a mesh pocket inside offer functional storage. The hand pockets double as ventilation when needed.
The inner pocket serves as a packable pouch, allowing the jacket to compress into itself for effortless travel or outdoor carry.
A drawcord hem provides quick adjustment to seal out drafts.
Designed to work as both outerwear and a mid-layer
The silhouette is trim yet lightly relaxed, allowing unhindered movement without bulk. Raglan sleeves enhance mobility, and the slightly extended back hem adds warmth where it’s needed most.
With warmth tuned to sit just above standard insulation and a focus on packability, this jacket fills the gap between heavy down and lightweight shells — ideal when you want true warmth without bulk.
